No Nonsense, Just Results

I grew up in Troutman on the north end of Lake Norman, but I was here before the lake which was formed in the mid-60s! Now I live in Mooresville. I've also lived in Salisbury and Charlotte. Graduated from NC State with an engineering degree and worked for Duke Power for 27 years in technical management. Later I worked for a small high tech company as plant manager but also got involved in sales. Found that I enjoyed developing working relationships with people and consulting with them to satisfy their needs. That problem-solving and relationship building work has served me well in real estate. I enjoy marketing people's homes and helping buyers find just the right home for their needs. Since being in real estate, I've opened and run one of our offices as Broker in Charge, worked as our Customer Service Manager and now I'm back full time listing and selling for Coldwell Banker United, Realtors. I am a former member of the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association and current member of the Board of the NC Association of Realtors. I'm also a former board member of Citizens for a Troutman Library and the Iredell Concert Association.
In 2008, I'm happy to say that I was one of the top 20 agents in CENTURY 21 Hecht Realty, which has since merged with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors.   In 2011, I was one of the top 3 agents in my Coldwell Banker United office.  I was also pleased to be named a Five Star Real Estate Agent by Charlotte Magazine for agents in the Charlotte area.

Outside of real estate, my other passions include woodworking (mainly with hand/antique tools), gardening (love those fresh vegetables), photography (digital now), and computers. I am married to Susan, a Kindergarten teacher and love of my life, and have two grown daughters- Laura in Raleigh and Kathryn (& hubby, Ron) in Washington, DC.

Testimonials:

  • Our home, that sounds so nice to say, is everything we were looking for. We have made it our own, and enjoyed sharing it with our friends this past weekend, as we held our housewarming party, on our party deck! Thanks Stan! You truly are "The Man" Fred Herbert & Donna Burkart
  • I could go on more about Stan, but will conclude with saying if you have any, ANY, real estate questions, you could not find a better source for the answers than Stan Suther. He is the most personable professional and knowledgeable real estate person I've ever encountered or even heard of. He is also a very interesting person to talk to about old, antique wood working tools. Stan also usually has a good joke or two, and enjoys hearing them. If you are in need of a true real estate professional, contact Stan Suther, and you'll be happy and satisfied that you did. Ken Koehler & family.
  • We had the house on the market for approximately two and a half years and a soon as you came along and started to market it for us, it was sold. That must have been one of the quickest sales you have managed in a long time, especially with the market being so bad at the moment. We are so grateful for all your work even down to helping Bob put air in one of the trailers tires before we left which is over and above the normal real estate job. Again I just thought I would write and thank you very much for the service you gave us in selling our house we are both very grateful and very happy where we are. Bob & Joan Ruggiero
